• You must document your creative process on your website. This includes a synopsis of your teaser trailer idea. You may also wish to include any other ideas you have had and why you chose not to pursue them. 

• Plan the production of your trailer. Be visual. Create a storyboard and detail each shot in order to bring your vision to life.

• A mood board will help provide context to your creative thinking and will help people visualize your trailer concept. 

• Organise when and where you will be filming. Use pre production paperwork templates to evidence this process. 

• Write a script to help direct your trailer.

• Create a shot list. 

• Remember to complete a risk assessment before booking your equipment.

Always have a plan B. Plans can change for a number of reasons, so you need to be prepared to develop your idea if needed.
